OUR MISSION STATEMENT

In our school we provide a secure and happy learning environment where every member of the community is welcomed, valued and respected as part of God's family.

We promote this through:

  • A daily life which seeks to reflect the life and teachings of Jesus.
  • A curriculum which encourages the growth of the whole child.
  • Working with each other, the Church and the wider community.

To fulfil our Mission Statement we will:

  • Provide a secure, stimulating Catholic environment where both children and adults can learn, grow and develop to their full potential.
  • Ensure that everyone is valued and respected.
  • Develop faith in Jesus Christ through our teaching and the way we live and worship in our school.
  • Develop the ability of both children and adults to deal responsibility with social, spiritual and moral issues.
  • Encourage everyone to value and respect people from all cultures, faiths and communities.
  • Establish open and respectful communication between pupils, teachers, parents and the wider community.

ABOUT OUR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

This is the part of the website where all of our current policies and procedures (and related documents) are made available for reference. Some of the items listed here are required by law. Others are recommended by the Local Eduacation Authority or Clifton Diocese. We also have some policies and procedures that we consider to be helpful in the running of the school though they are not legally required.

The main link for each document is a PDF file, viewable with the Acrobat viewer. If you do not have it, you can download it for free from the Adobe Website.

We take all of our policies and procedures seriously. If you are aware of any problem relating to them then please raise it with the school head teacher or a school governor. Please inform the webmaster of any typographical errors or layout problems.

If you are a governor working on a new version of any of these documents, you can download the editable version (Word .doc format) via the "editable version" link. If you have any difficulties or questions then please contact the webmaster.
