We are currently (Nov 2017) undergoing a full review of curriculum documentation and we expect to upload new information in December 2017. In the meantime, it is useful for you to know that we follow the Development Matters Curriculum for EYFS and National Curriculum 2014 for Years 1-6. These state what your child should be able to do at the end of each Key Stage. We share these objectives out throughout the phases within the school to ensure there is a good spread of work and a progression of skills as children move through each year group.
It is useful to look at the year group page for your child to see specific expectations. This can be found in the same menu bar.
It is also useful to read information about the wider curriculum that we are proud to offer at St Gregory's. Information can be found here: http://www.st-gregorygreat.gloucs.sch.uk/wider-curriculum/ .
Children learn to read using 'Letters and Sounds' and 'Jolly Phonics' actions. They are assessed regularly and streamed into ability groups which enables the children to be taught in smaller learning groups.
