Parents are the primary educators of their children and having chosen to send their children to our school, it is integral that we work together with families to deliver a faithful Catholic education, in addition to the highest quality of teaching and learning. 

The partnership between home, faith and school is greatly valued at The Catholic School of St Gregory the Great. When joining our school, both parents and staff understand that we are a community which is steeped in the teachings of Jesus and that only by working together can our children “learn the human, spiritual and moral values which enable them to be a beacon of goodness, integrity and justice in our communities.” (Pope Francis 2014).

Our staff comprehend that our Catholic faith is not simply an addition to school life, but rather is the foundation of all we say and do. Because of this, staff work to model the behaviours we wish to see in our children based on the teachings of Jesus and will actively seek out opportunities to develop their own knowledge of the Catholic faith. 

Bringing our families into the ‘fold’ and truly living out our foundation values of ‘Hospitality’ and ‘Community’, we seek to involve parents at every opportunity- learning from each other and being a supportive structure for our children to thrive.
