• Y1 - The Lion King - WOW day

  As you may be aware Year 1’s topic next term is The Lion King where we will begin by learning about different African animals.

  For our topic launch we will be having a WOW day where we will be doing various crafts and activities around the story. The children will be taking the role of explorers and imagining what it might be like on a safari.

  To further immerse the children and get them excited about the topic we would love for the children to dress up as an animal or an explorer for our WOW day which will be the first day back after Christmas (Tuesday 8^th January)

  Anything you have at home is perfect, you might have some combat trousers, boots or even an animal onesie. You could even choose to give your child a project over the holidays to make their costume.

• Year 2 - Antarctic Explorers Wow Day

  Children are invited to come to school in their own clothes and could come dressed in any explorer themed clothing that they might have or bring in accessories such as hats, binoculars and maps to get in the theme of the day.

   

  Children need to come with 3 toilet rolls (without the paper on them) so that they are able to create their own explorer survival kits. Throughout the day we will also be making explorer dens and sampling some basic rations that historic explorers will have lived off whilst on an expedition.

• Christmas End of Term

  School closes at 1.30pm on Friday 21^st December

  School reopens for children at 8.45am on Tuesday 8^th January 2019.

   

• Lost Property - 17th-21st Dec Please pick up

  Please note that lost property will be left at the front of the school for the last week of term.  On Fri 21st all remaining items will be donated to charity if not collected.

• KS2 Carols by Candle light 18th Dec @ 5pm

  Tue 18 Dec 2018
  KS2 Carols by Candle light  on Tues 18th Dec 5pm—6pm in the Church. All KS2 children are expected to be there. 
  KS2 children will remain at school until the start of the service. Please send a small snack (sandwich, packet of crisps, cheese and crackers, piece of fruit) for them to have whilst they chill-out after school with a giant cinema session. All children should be collected at 6pm at school, following the service.
